It is that time of year when things are blooming and pollen is in the air. When the blooms start, so do allergies. Sneezing, itchy, watery eyes, and sinus problems are just a few of the symptoms that erupt out of nowhere. We have several things that can help ease the allergies that you can use safely and holistically.
Essential Oils: Two main oils that will help support and maintain your immune systems against allergies is Tea Tree Oil and Sweet Marjoram. Both oils have anti-allergenic properties that will help fight against allergies and the symptoms that come with them.
Herbs: There are many herbs that will help with reducing these symptoms. You can make a tea with equal parts nettle leaf, plantain leaf and dried elderflowers. Yarrow is another good herb to have handy during allergy and hay fever season.
